NO OTHER LOVE

‘No Other Love’ (Like You) is an English pop version of Veronica’s original dance hit ‘No Hay Otro Amor’, a ground breaking song in Spain, as it was the first music video that depicted same sex couples kissing, to achieve mainstream acceptance. The writers of ‘No Other Love’ have been involved with major artists such as Ke$ha, Christine Aguilera, Enrique Iglesias among many. Having just completed her first ever English album, Verónica was excited to rework this uplifting feel-good summer pop song version.
Verónica Romero became a household name across Spain when she won the hearts of people on the first season of OT (Operación Triunfo) going on to have 9 top 10 chart songs and setting a TV ratings record 2 times (in 2002 and again in 2016) with the Prestigious “Golden Minute” of television with the “Most viewed live television musical performance ever” on Spain’s RTVE. ‘No Other Love’ is upbeat and fresh and just makes you feel good!

ABOUT

Recording Artist / Singer-Songwriter-Musician / Fitness Model
Verónica Romero is a multi-platinum selling Spanish music artist, television
personality and coveted cover-page magazine fitness model, featured on the cover of many fashion, music, health and fitness and men’s magazines who became a household name in 2002 as a finalist of OT (Operación Triunfo) television talent show which aired on Spain’s RTVE network. Returning to Spain late 2017 Verónica became a regular “collaborator” guest on on RTVE’s “Hora Punta” or “Rush Hour”, national nightly entertainment talk show based in Barcelona.
Verónica is equally recognised for motivating and inspiring people with
her athletic physique and glamorous looks, as she has her many uplifting music hits, and dynamic television and live performances. Musically “Vero” is best known for her previous hits such as Besame, La Fuerza Del Sol (2002), Lluvia (2003), Serotonina (2006), and her platinum selling 2007 single, “Conectado a mi,” which became the most digitally downloaded song in the history of MSN Spain. ‘No Hay Otro Amor’ (No Other Love) was a ground breaking song in Spain as it was the first openly gay video that achieved mainstream acceptance.
With credits that include 9 top ten hits, the Prestigious “Golden Minute” of television- “Most viewed live television performance ever” in history of Spain’s RTVE with 15 million viewers in 2002, Verónica again set that record in 2017 and remains the most viewed musical performer ever on RTVE. Add to that sold out live performances and an extensive outdoor-festivals concert appearance schedule and many prime-time television performances, Verónica’s recent resurgence of popularity in Spain, sees her primed to promote across Spain and internationally, her newly completed album.
While Veronica has frequently cited her rock influences as Queen, U2 and Whitesnake, the vibe on “Tastes Like Chocolate” draws more on the other great inspiration of her formative years, Madonna. In the singer’s ever expanding musical world, there are no limits. “I have always believed that uplifting inspirational experiences are the key to creating great songs,” says Veronica, who penned the playful and passionate “Tastes Like Chocolate” with Mher Filian (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato) and Rob Kleiner (Cee Lo Green, David Guetta, Flo rida). The song peeked at #11 on UK dance charts.
While establishing herself as a pop/rock recording artist in Spain, Veronica has taken some fascinating creative detours that reflect her versatility and sense of adventure. She followed her first two hit solo albums in 2004 by appearing as a vocal soloist with the Valenciana Baroque Orchestra on El Amor Brujo, an album featuring music created by the late legendary Spanish composer Manuel De Falla. For her third album Serotonina, she launched her own label VK 48 Music. Veronica has also expanded into films over the years, appearing in the Downs Syndrome documentary “Las Palabras de Vero” (2004) and “Fin de curso” (directed by Miguel Marti, who also directed many of Veronica’s music videos). She also became part of the “Puiu pilot,” an adaptation of the American series “Heroes,” portraying sci-fi heroine Wings, who appears only in Puiu’s dreams and nightmares. Two of her songs, “Someone To Think About” and its Spanish version “Alguien en quien pensar” were used to record music videos for the series.
Verónica’s new album ‘Hello World’ is an electro-pop-rock album radio-friendly songs and is clearly a “career milestone” album for Vero and her first ever English language album. She has written or co-written many of her past singles and this album also has co-writes with people with impressive credits such as Phil Collen of legendary classic rock band Def Leppard, Robe Kleiner (Sia,Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, David Guetta) Michael Jay (Eminem, Kylie Minogue, Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan, Mandy Moore) C.J. Vanston (Prince, Celine Dion, Tina Turner), and most recently before leaving Los Angeles for her current visit to Spain, Verónica co-wrote a new song with Adrian Schinoff, best known as Producer for Grammy Award winning Pablo Alboran.
With a driving ambition to empower women with her vast knowledge and experience as a leading health and fitness model, and her desire to elevate the lives and raising awareness of children in need in impoverished countries, Verónica’s humanitarian agenda is equally matched by her desire to give back to society and make a positive impact on people’s lives. Veronica’s passion to raise awareness about these issues is explored in her new album ‘Hello World’ and the album title song ‘Hello World’ which has an explosive pop chorus with a “call-to-action” “You can make a change to save tomorrow” for everyone to be responsible for the environment “before it’s too late”.
